Scott may be the best pure singer in this competition. I don’t know why Simon is always such a dick to him…wait, yes I do…it’s because of his looks. If he looked like Mario or A-Fed, Simon would pimp him non-stop.

The only time Simon was wrong when he’s said somebody should win was in the first season with Tamyra. After that he pimped both Ruben and Fantasia. I also think he’s right. Bo is the only one who’s really distinguished himself as frontrunner so far.

I thought Anthony was going to sing the theme from WKRP in Cincinatti for a minute there. Then I told my husband that he sounds just like Marc Anthony right before Simon said the same thing. Actuall what I said was, “He sounds just like the guy who married big butt. . . you know. . . the Spanish guy. . .”

I’m ready to jump off the Bo Bice bandwagon. Underneath that “rocker” veneer, he’s a guy who sings Hootie and the Blowfish covers at weddings.
I was thinking that he meant Ray Charles cleaned up at the Oscars so it was a good choice because we love his music right now.
