The news is up at TWoP, but I won’t post it all here. It’s Billboard #1 night, giving contestants a wide range of choices. And now comes a confession that makes me puking sick.
I’m starting to like Constantine. The Justin Guarani shirt, the corny song last week… and now he does a freaking Partridge Family song! His sense of humor is welcome on this show, where all the contestants take themselves so seriously.
And no big surprise, but…
Bo does “Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croce, which is exactly the kind of boring, luke warm classic rock he likes. I gotta go with Connie this time.

Hey, I’m happy to see Constantine returning to form. I really liked him early on – it wasn’t until we hit the later Hollywood rounds that he started sucking hard.
Last week he was terrific…let’s see if he can keep it up tonight.*****
And hopefully it won’t be very long before I stop turning to Fox on Monday night, just to realize they’re not doing that anymore. :smack:

I really liked Connie last week, too. I found myself saying, “Holy shit, he can sing! I forgot he could do that!” If he keeps it up, I’ll be a fan again like I was at the beginning.

I love Tuesdays too! I rad some stuff in Us and People about our contestants. They say Carrie has a boyfriend back home (does he know about Bo?) and ALSO “claim” that Anwar is going to cut his hair! Say it isn’t so! They also showed their childhood pictures;Connie looks just the same(cept his hair is shorter).

TWoP is television without pity. I’ve been told not to link to other forums, but you can find the Idol forum by going to televisionwithoutpity.com and using the drop-down “forums” menu.
Hmmm…looking the the TwoP forum, I find not only listings of what songs will be sung, but also what the judges comments were. Am I missing something here? Aren’t the Final-12 shows supposed to be broadcast live? And if not, weren’t they in previous seasons?
They used to be, but they always ran over. This year they’re taping the F12 and F11 shows so that they can edit in the commercials and still fit everyone in without going over. That’s the story, anyway.
