I liked Medium-Sized David too, but Castro blew me away. Little David was okay, but I can’t see him being a pop star like I can Medium David and Dreads.
I like Michael Johns! But funny how they spend all this time trashing Leif Jr. for failing to do something original and make the song his own (which I think was *exactly *what he was trying to do, but needed more rehearsal), and then they overpraise Michael for doing a note-for-note impersonation of Jim Morrison. He could have been lip-synching the original recording, for all he “put his mark on it.” :rolleyes:

Wow, Luke Menard sucked about 7 different kinds of ass tonight. Good grief. So far David Archuletta (short 17 y/o kid) was miles better than everyone so far. Noreago was pretty awful too.
Last week I was worried that we might actually get a couple good performances. Thank goodness that never happened (Colton’s on now for me). Why people think they can save their performances with one note at the end, I have no idea.

Anyway, Gay Danny is MUCH cuter than Sanjaya. Sanjaya was kind of smarmy. I predict Chikeze stays because he’s the only black guy, though I’d totally put him in my bottom two. Leif Jr. has potential, so I’d keep him around. On a personal note, I’m a whole lot older than many of these guys, which makes me a little sad and confused.

Hate him I suppose is a bit strong, but I definitely didn’t find anything from his performance to warrant me having any faith in him.
The problem with this song and the way he sang it is that he seemed to take the easiest possible route through it and he was still a little sketchy. It’s entirely possible that he just made the worst possible song choice. The performance was bad though.
