Woohoo! I’m pleased with my picks. the bottom 3 last night were 3 out of my bottom 4. That’s got to bode well… Should’ve consulted with my wife, though. She picked the bottom 3 exactly last night. (Nice going, Reloy3 and Hal Briston.)

I feel good about my picks of Ramiele and Kristy for the next two weeks, but Syesha really needs to step things up if she’s going to prove me right and be the dark horse runner-up.

Yeah, I was very torn…I was happy to see her go since I loathe her “singing” (although I thought this week was her best yet), but in the back of my mind, I couldn’t help but think “Damnit, VftW dinks, you were supposed to keep her around a little while longer!” :slight_smile:

Anyway, for posterity – After the Top 11 elimination week:

We have Reloy3 in 1st place with 1 point.
Tied for 2nd we have Blue Mood, Drain Bead, Hal Briston, and the SDMB Mean with 4 points.
Tied for 6th we have Gorgonzola, Liberal, Mahaloth, Pleonast, Sam Stone and The Unkempt One with 5 points.
Tied for 12th we have Rachael Rage, accidental yuppie and yellowval with 6 points.
Tied for 15th we have Biggirl and Kolak of Twilo with 7 points.
Tied for 17th we have Rachel Christine and gonzoron with 8 points.
In 19th we have Dudley Garrett with 9 points.
And bringing up the rear we have Sternvogel with 11 points.

How does that scoring work again? I got week #12 wrong, but 11 and 10 I’ve nailed. How did I have 9 points before last night’s elimination?

I thought my AI bracket was more busted than my NCAA ones but I could still-- not get too many points.

It’s all because of David H. – you picked him to go 3rd, and he went 12th. You picked up nine points for that, and you’re stuck with those points. Of course, going perfect since then is helping to make up for it.

Man, was I ever sweating having my 2nd-place pick be in the bottom two. Losing Syesha this week would’ve been a major kick in the nuts for my score. Unfortunately for Sternvogel, the elimination of Chikezie helps sink him even further away from the rest of the pack.

The standings after the Top 10 elimination week:

–Even though he doubled his total score to 2 points this week, Reloy3 retains his 1st place ranking.
–Drain Bead take sole possession of 2nd place with 4 points.
–Tied for 3rd we have Blue Mood, and the SDMB Mean with 5 points each.
–Tied for 5th place are Gorgonzola, Hal Briston and Pleonast with 6 points.
–Mahaloth, Rachael Rage, Sam Stone and The Unkempt One share 8th place with 7 points apiece.
–Sharing 12th place with 8 points each are accidental yuppie, Biggirl, Liberal and yellowval
–Tied for 16th are Dudley Garrett, Kolak of Twilo and Rachel Christine with 9 points.
–gonzoron drops to 19th place with 10 points.
–And Sternvogel stays at the bottom of the pile in 20th place with 17 points.
