The other shoe is yet to drop: each week that Kristy Lee stays in is another point worse for most of us. Only gorgonzola and Reloy have her going out after last night.
I really need David Cook to have a bad performance Tuesday. Nobody picked him for ninth. If he’s eliminated next week, however, I’ll be charged only one point, as will Mahaloth.
Yup, I was looking at that too. Between Kristy and Ramiele, I’ve got another 5 points headed my way eventually. And that’s if they both get the boot next week, along with my original pick for next week, Syesha. Since there’s only one boot a week, that’s at least another 8 points, just lingering in limbo. argh, and I was doing so well the first week!

And Ramiele Malubay goes. I had such high hopes for her. I think she was the contestant who we Dopers had the widest predictions for. Congrats to Dudley Garrett, Rachael Rage, Sam Stone, and The Unkempt One for calling her right.
Scoring after the number nine elimination week:
In first place, we have Blue Mood and Drain Bead with 6 points.
In third place, we have Rachael Rage, Sam Stone, The Unkempt One, and SDMB Mean with 7 points.
In seventh place, we have Hal Briston and Reloy3 with 8 points.
In ninth place with 9 points are Dudley Garrett and yellowval.
In eleventh place with 10 points are accidental yuppie and Rachel Christine.
In thirteenth place, we have Kolak of Twilo and Liberal with 11 points.
All by my lonesome in fifteenth place is Pleonast with 12 points.
With 13 points and in sixteenth place are Biggirl, gonzoron and Mahaloth.
With 14 points and in nineteenth place is Gorgonzola.
And Sternvogel digs a deeper hole with 24 points. Ouch!
Woo Hoo! It’s all downhill from here.

Just a quick peek at the chart, but it looks like Rachael Rage and the SDMB Mean are going to take over the top spot.
But finally a week where I didn’t pick up any points! Woo-hoo!
Wow, I have to say I never expected to do this well, but I’ll take it! 
I lucked out not gaining any points for a couple of weeks in a row. That changes next week when I predicted David H. would go. In his place? I’m hoping it’s Kristy - the longer she sticks around the more points I get. Plus, yaknow, she sucks.
As the top eight get knocked down to seven, we had three individuals (and one group) hit Michal Johns’ elimination right on the head. Dudley Garrett, Kolak of Twilo, Rachael Rage and the SDMB Mean each picked up a perfect zero points this week.
That leaves our current rankings as so:
Topping the scoreboard are Rachael Rage and the SDMB Mean with 7 points.
In third place are Drain Bead, Sam Stone and The Unkempt One with 8 points each.
Sixth place has Dudley Garrett, Hal Briston and Reloy3 with 9 points.
With 11 points each, Blue Mood, Kolak of Twilo and Rachel Christine are in ninth place.
Twelfth place has accidental yuppie and yellowval with 12 points.
Fourteenth place belongs solely to Pleonast and his 13 points.
gonzoron and Liberal share fifteenth place with 14 points.
With 15 points each, Gorgonzola and Mahaloth share seventeenth place.
In nineteenth place is Biggirl with 16 points.
And finally, Sternvogel retains his firm grasp on 20th place with 27 points.
I think it’s interesting that the SDMB Mean, made from ranking our average, is doing so well.

The competition spoiler that was Kristy Lee Cook is now gone, to the extreme relief of most of us. With a couple of exceptions, each week that Cook survived meant more points. Gorgonzola only picks up a deuce for that, with the rest of us picking up three or more. Here’s how it shakes out:
Taking first place all to herself is Rachael Rage with 10 points.
Sharing a place in second with 12 points are Hal Briston, The Unkempt One, Sam Stone, Reloy3 and the SDMB Mean.
Drain Bead’s 13 points giver her seventh place all on her own.
In eighth place are DudleyGarrett and Kolak of Twilo with 14 points each.
Tenth place has accidentalyuppie, Blue Mood, RachelChristine and yellowval with 16 points.
Fourteenth place has Gorgonzola and his 17 points.
With 18 points each, fifteenth place is shared by gonzoron, Liberal, Mahaloth and Pleonast.
In nineteenth place is Biggirl with 21 points.
And settling comfortably into his spot on the back end is Sternvogel with 32 points.
So who is looking good for the rest of the season? That’d be the following list:

These six are the only ones who have all their picks ranked 1-6 still left in the competition. That means that they’re the only ones who have a chance to pick up zero points from here on out. It’s still a longshot that anyone will do that, but these six are in the best position for the remainder of the season.

Surely I will pay for my foolishness.
Surely…'cause when Jason gets the boot tonight, I pick up zero points and the lead will be mine, all mine!! Muahahaha! 
I expect Brooke’s dismissal will let Rachel extend her lead.
