If you insist, I can give a short summary.

The US government sends the CIA to install a puppet government in a small country whose resources big American companies want. The puppet president lets the American companies exploit the country and he gets a commision from the companies.

When was the last time that happened? Maybe that was true in the 1950s and 1960s, but I can’t think of a puppet government we’ve installed since then. And even then, it wasn’t as much a money-making scheme by big American companies as it was an anti-Communist kind of thing. Better the dictator we know in some banana republic, rather than godless Communists in S. America, and all that.

I do so enjoy the theory that the CIA killed Michael Jackson because he was about to have a concert. I must admit that I had the same impulse when I heard he was going out on tour.
