I understand that the Chinese food in China is not the same as the Chinese food here in America; I have some friends, Barbara and Bruce, who went to China, to Peking, where they make the duck, and they said that the food over there is just not as good, that you can’t get a sauce as thick and sweet as what they make over here…
I’m surprised to hear that there are still blacklists in America. Even more surprised to hear that someone’s wife gets put on there as well.
I find it easy enough to understand.
Jackass husband heads to a foreign country, screws around and gets fired. Comes back to the US, still sucking money out of the family accounts. Tries to claim VA benefits though not entitled, spends a weekend in the VA on psych, manages to get SSDI from that. Bails back to foreign country after essentially cleaning the family out of resources, where he take sup with a 17 year old [who is old enough to get married there and in many states in the US] and gets engaged and married even though is already married so he is committing bigamy. He has at least 2 profitable businesses going and is still collecting SSDI.
I don’t blame her for being pissed off, spouses with craptastic financial records and legal issues can get one fired from jobs, or render them unable to get a good job if the perspective employer checks their history.

treis … it’s not a new process certain industries require security clearance in which mine did. Given the ex attempted extortion in one company, sexual harrassment in another, and had a restraining order against him for leaving a threat of killing people if they won’t hire him on a voicemail message… yep, he’s blacklisted and I was too thanks to him!

- Criminal records do not effect me, the fact he was black listed in the industry we worked in which required security clearance prevented me from being hired in that same industry. Now divorced it may be different.

Bottom Line Gripe: that anyone can defraud gov. agencies in two countries, break federal laws in 2 countries, rip off children of thier education savings, own a business and still collect SSDI payments for the past 11 years.. am I the only one that sees this post being about a criminal and con, not written as a jilted ex? Hey Monkey thanks for taking notice of my spelling error “their” been spelling it wrong for about a year now, the doc says I’m fine no dyslexia here and don’t insult me with a second language… this error bugs a lot of people, but I’m ok with it for now am hoping I get over it soon though and resume spelling thier correctly, thanks!

I could be wrong, but isn’t there a law or something that allows you to file for divorce and after a certain amount of time/evidence, get it granted even if the other party disagrees? I mean, file papers, and when he never signs them or shows up for hearings, the court will eventually grant your divorce? You have emails from him and proof that he’s shacked up with this young chick.
Depending on the law in your state it might even be possible to be granted a fault-divorce on grounds of adultery if you can prove your spouse is cohabitating with a 3rd party.

Close out your joint accounts and open new ones in your name only and have all business and financial paperwork sent to a post office box that only you know about, dumping him when you found out about the extortion attempt, refusing to support him while he screws up and on and on.
