What a brialliant documentary!
I woke up Sunday morning and found that the SO had taped it for me. He was a little pissed off that his idea was stolen, and figures he’ll just have to do a Canadian Mullet documentary.

Oddly enough, it was an interesting study of social and cultural standards. These mullet-sporting individuals all plead their case quite well, and almost made you understand their reason for wearing them so proudly. However, it is still the ugliest hair cut ever, IMO.

Can the documentary be viewed on a 16 X 9 Letterbox set?

I think so, though the footage is more popular in 4:3 so that the on-screen length of the mullets isn’t comprimised.

I was about to go to the bar the other night when I came across that show. I was mesmerized. I didn’t move from the couch for the next hour. Didn’t make it to the bar that night either. It was beautiful, like watching a train wreck, I couldn’t pull my eyes away from those mullets.

LOL. Same here Ivar. Some friends and I were getting ready to leave when we saw it on the direcTV guide. We sat through the whole thing in amazement.

Rico, there was a documentary about mullets, called American Mullet, on Trio at 1am, Sunday morning.
It was great!

The show discussed the phenomenon of the mullet haircut in U.S. society. The talked to country music fans and performers, lesbians, Native Americans, Mexicans (especially those who are the Yucatan), Soccer players, businessmen, bikers, etc…

I thought that one woman at the fashion seminar for lesbians was about 2 seconds from breaking down in tears, after being told her hair was ugly. It was sad, actually. A couple of lipstick lesbians telling the bulldykes to “move beyond the sho-lo”. I felt sorry for her.
