American poverty or Adventures of Lolo 3 (aka, survey techniques)

I just heard that 1 in 4 children in the United States “suffers the effects of poverty and hunger every day.” It seems like that is worded in a way which is potentially misleading. What are the real statistics? Is there such a thing as real statistics?

Speaking of the number of people who do things… do people still play Adventures of Lolo 3? I play it on the Nesticle emulator, and I’m wondering if anyone would benefit from a collection of .nsm movies showing the solutions to levels. How would I go about conducting this survey?

Answer whichever question you see fit.

I heard a saying recently that went something like this:

Statistics are like a bikini. What they show is intriging, but what they don’t show is vital.
