Congressman Santos.
What do you mean, it is just a TV show?

I’d love to see a minority in the WH, but I wouldn’t vote for Hillary or Rice. If it was between the two of them, I’d lean slightly toward Rice but would more likely not vote.
In this country you will not, unless the Constitution is changed, ever be able to elect someone who is from another country. Regardless, you do not think it is possible for a white man to come to this country and feel different? You don’t think it is possible for a white man to represent your views?
If my sole litmus test on who I vote for was better treatment of minorities I would vote for Bill Clinton before I voted for say Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. They are too divisive. I think they would harm the minority communities more than they helped.
You can’t justify racism with racism. Under your criteria, I don’t think you can complain if a minority never gets elected. Since you think it’s ok to base your vote on the skin color of the candidate. A minority will never be a majority. If you do not think its racist for you to pick your candidate based on skin color, or gender, then it’s not for anyone else. I think it is racist/sexist. I have the definitions to back me up.
General Wesley Clark with James Lee Witt on his ticket.
I could see voting for Clinton, but no way in hell would I vote for Adam. Look at his record! He divorced his first wife because she was an outspoken feminist, he blames his troubles on women, and you don’t want to know what his sons have done.
Ron Paul.
Tom Coburn.
Rudy G.
Bob Casey.
Jack Kemp.
McCain, I think.
Lieberman, maybe.
Harold Ford in a few years.
I’ve already said I’m swimming to Spain if those two are the match-up.
I would vote for…
Howard Dean
Barack Obama
Jerry Brown (I like the way he actually seems to be thinking when he speaks, not reciting a script)
Ralph Nader (oh, wait, I did once)
John Kerry (oh, wait, I did once)
Chris Walken (why… the hell not?)
Matt Santos (from the West Wing)
Mac Allen (from Commader in Chief)
No eligible Republicans on the list? Well, show me a conservationist Republican, & that can change. I do like Arnie from California, though… oh, wait, that’s Arnie Vinick, from the West Wing again.
Party politics breeds moral cowardice.
Howard Dean.
I kinda liked my first impressions of Bob Graham from the last Dem primaries, though I don’t know enough about him to be sure, and IIRC he was the first guy to drop out of the running.
I don’t know what to think about Colin Powell after this Iraq debacle, but up to 2003 I’d have voted for him in a heartbeat.
I know it’s not an elected position, but I’d love to see Richard Clarke as National Security Adviser.
Man, I thought I’d be the first one here with the Feingold-love. He’s the greatest. I know people who would take a year off of work/school to campaign for him.
Are you being serious? This is an incredibly racist statement.
