I can’t believe that no one here has dared to name a certain individual that has so far:

*Used his Hillbilly brother and the “Good ol boy” system to toss out opposing votes and steal the office he now holds

*Lied to the world about weapons of mass destruction that he knew fully well didn’t exist, so he could start a war with a certain nation that he is now stealing Oil from

*Was a former leader of the only state in America that has a Death Row system close to rivaling Hitlers Nazi regime

*and presently has the gall to seek reelection so he can continue his reign of terror for another four years

I won’t name this person, mainly because I don’t think I have to. You all know who he is, and why he wasn’t your first choice, to me is a true mystery

Yeah,

US Servicemen can be real jackasses sometimes. What else would you expect when you put foreign teenagers and young men in foreign countries? Some of them are really insensitive. Basically the most embarassing thing for me is Americans who act like assholes when they come abroad in general. I KNOW that I’m not like that, but why do I feel partly responsible?

Not foreign teenagers, but teenagers and young men in a foreign country! :smack:

Sylvia Brown, John Edward and other phonies of their ilk.

I feel responsible for swedes who go abroad and act immature as well. Our country is much smaller, so I feel that I want the ones who do get noticed abroad to make a good impression.
As for American celebrities… I would feel a bit awkward if I was connected to Bush.

Rumsfeld ! Biggest mouth of the western world. How could no one mention this ass. Poor Blair suffered a lot on his account.

Most ultra conservative shits in the US make me sick… including of course witless Bush.

Among the artists… Michael Jackson is becoming so so wierd. Labeling him an Alien instead of American would be more correct.

Well, in the other corner, we have Bush, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Phelps, Thrush Windbag, various tele-evangelists, and Dennis Fucking Miller. To name just a few.

And Barbra doesn’t use that second “a”.

Jerry Lewis

I am not American. I am thankful for this because of:

George W. Bush.

Unfortunately, I am not quite so thankful that I am Australian because of:

John Howard.

Do mean The old Charger? Or his son about the enter the NFL? If you mean KW Jr., that’s fine – he’s a loudmouth idiot. But If you mean his pops, I must have missed anything embarrassing he ever did.

Fred Phelps is about as sick and evil as it gets.

Damn, Annie, you beat me to it.

Dr. Laura
Howard Stern

and pretty much anyone else who pollutes the airwaves with pure, utter crap.

Isn’t she kinda old news to be in the final cut for the most embarassing? It’s been a long time. Perhaps we should get over her. Especially when there are figures in the world of sport who have done (or been accused of or found civilly liable for) considerably more heinous crimes for far less understandable reasons. (Simpson, Carruth, Bryant, Lewis, Williams, just to name a few.)

Damn, I was beat to all of my early choices… Dr. Laura, Rush Limbaugh and mostly, Fred Phelps.

So I guess I’ll add Ann Coulter, unless someone else already has and I missed it. If so, my apologies. Other than that, what thread like this would be complete without a mention of Carrot Top? (Although he doesn’t really bother me, I’m sure more than a handful of Americans would find him at the very least annoying, if not downright embarrassing).

While I’m sure that what you say is true in many of the Socialist Workers Utopias scattered around the globe, rest assured that many Americans are indeed embarassed by them.

However, from the opposite end of the spectrum I’d like to nominate:

  • Pat Robertson

  • Roy Moore

  • Fred Phelps

Madonna

Jon Drummond
