I work for one of Ameritech’s competitors and I wish I could post transcripts of some of the calls we’ve gotten because of Ameritech’s shitty service. Some of them from Ameritech’s own employees who have our service because even with their employee discount our service is still cheaper. Unfortunately we have to deal with them on a daily basis to conduct business and if you think being their customer is difficult, try being their competitor and having to threaten lawsuits every day to get them to do what they’re already required to under federal law.
I was so happy when I switched away from them and stuck them for my final bill. Only $13 but it still felt gooood.
