What the fuck is your problem Ameritech!?! Are you so damn high and mighty that you can’t release a few phone numbers?!? There are people in this city who have been waiting to join Sprint PCS for months. And why can’t they? Because your sorry asses can’t suck it up and create some new phone numbers for them. And why won’t you do this? Because you’ll lose a little of your half-assed, crappy business.

You do realize that there is a finite amount of phone numbers, right? You do realize that even with new area codes we’re still running out, right? You do realize that Ameritech can’t go and create new area codes for PCS whenever they feel like it, right?
Complain to NANPA.
They’re the ones who have screwed everything up.
No, it has nothing to do with area codes. There are plenty of cellular and digital providers in the area. Ameritech just doesn’t want to give out more numbers to a new competitor. I live in South Bend, Indiana, and area that I doubt has any chance of running out of numbers.
