Yes, I’m working as an RN in home health. Ergh. It’s reeeeally nice for the schedule - make my own hours, as as many or as few of them as I want, but once this camping season is over, I’m redoubling my efforts at finding a hospital gig. I need to be around nurses to learn from them, and with this job I can’t do that. My patients are all stable enough that I’m not an outright danger to them, but I’m not growing as a nurse or moving toward further career goals doing this. I am, however, paying my bills, which is actually kind of fun!
