i just purchased an APC BX800 Uninterruptible Power Supply for my Mirror Door G4, long story short, it works fine, but the audio “On Battery” alarm doesn’t work, everything else works fine

i called up APC, thinking that perhaps this model had no “on battery” alarm, or that it was controlled thru the software, turns out it does have an alarm, and there’s no software control for the alarm function, my APC unit is defective, the first time i’ve had a bad APC out of the box…

i call up APC, and go thru some troubleshooting steps, ayuh, defective alarm, the tech offers to ship me a replacement on the spot, no questions asked (aside from the ones he already did :wink: ) and they’re paying for shipping both ways

i compliment APC on their excellent customer service, if only more companies realized the importance of it…

oh what the heck, this IS the pit after all…

i pit APC for allowing a defective UPS out of their factory doors :wink: (kidding)

I’ve never watched Futurama. But I went to Google, found several soundclips, and now I know how Zoidberg’s voice sounds.

Seriously, every night I work, I try to talk to my coworker about the Futurama episode I just saw on Adult Swim, seeing as she’s a huge fan of The Simpsons and Family Guy, and she’s always saying how she “just never got into Futurama,” and changing the subject.

And you know what? She’s Indian :eek:
