I know that icing is when a player shoots the puck from behind center ice and it goes past the opposite team’s goal line.
What I am wondering is how/why/when would icing be waved off.
I think it can be waved off if the ref thinks that the other team could have gotten to the puck, but just didn’t try hard enough. I’m not sure about any other reason it would be waved off.
Well, Pipeliner the only reason you beat me to that answer is that I had to change platforms. My rules for hockey is kept on the PC, I was using the UNIX. Blast you to the bottoms of a putrid pond!
Well pipeliner you should be! It is a fun sport. I usually attend minor league games and hardly ever see blood on the ice. Most of the time it just reminds me of an evil ballet:).
xizor: ha, that is good, but unfortunately they aren’t wearing tight enough clothing I NEED to be able to see their religion gosh dabbit! On sports TV, I have seen the best plays of the day/week/month/season done to classical music and it actually fits.
Pipeliner: I suggest you just quit your job and start being a fanatic. This eating hobby of yours is not necessary! and I am sure your family will understand what you being one of those north of the US people
