Stan Lee would disagree. In his first appearance, the Hulk was actually quite intelligent (also grey) - he also changed at night, not when angry.

I think you’re trying to say that the Sun’s gravity would be strong enough to act in the same way friction does in throwing the ball, but I’m not sure.

Not the Sun’s gravity, the inertia and the tandem pull with Earth.

Wouldn’t jumping from the moon to the earth or vice versa create an opposite reaction that would knock the source off its orbit or something?

Does sending a Saturn 5 rocket to the moon knock the earth out of orbit? Compared the to mass of the earth, the Hulk is not even a flea. The gravity of the sun is irrelevant. Would a microbe jumping off an astronaut on a space walk be noticeable?

Not having the ability to fly is a pretty big weakness. If he tried jumping from the moon to the earth and missed, I hope he can hold his breath a really long time.

Also the quickest win for Supes vs Hulk. Throw the Hulk into orbit and he’s pretty well stuck. Nailed to the Sky, sort of.

Yes, in proportion to the mass of the ball. Exactly as the moon would move in proportion to the Hulk’s mass. Not much.
