Mostly because it was, without a doubt, the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.
About a year ago, I was listening to one of those I-didn’t-know-my-dial-went-this-far-to-the-left radio stations (I believe it was a college station in Chicago, but as I was on the Eisenhower, I could have been somehwere between where Elmhurst college’s surprisingly good station cut out and Loyola and Northwestern’s which are surprisingly sucky started up. The song itself may have actually been a skit by the DJs, but here goes:
There were two people impersonating Latino transvestites arguing over something. As their argument built, they broke into an a capella rendition of the Super Mario Brothers theme song.
It was the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. I’d like to hear it again. Please help me.
* Latino transvestites*
I was hearing confused Italian immigrants relocated to Saskatchewan. Sort of like Father Guido Sarducci meets the Mackenzie brothers.
