Any Calgary folks here? I mean Calgary Alberta yep in Canada…
Just curious.

Close. Edmonton here. Only a 3 hour drive away.
right here babe…grew up in Abbeydale for 7 years…and lived in the dowtown region for a couple years…21 and 14th ave.
Ain’t that fucked eh?
I hear Shaw Cable is the tops… unlike our cable system where I live…
Actually graduated from Crescent Heights High School. Those were the days.
smug,
My ex-fiance lived in Edmonton…he’s the reason I hate the Oiler LOL…I missed watching them play against the Avs last weekend and apparently I missed a hell of a game.
Shaw ain’t bad…but it isn’t awesome. I have no complaints so far.
Hate the Oilers???
Still bitter about when the lowly Oilers knocked your Av’s out a few years back?
Too bad about Deadmarsh and Drury. Ow!
Oilers RULE!
I am a true Avs fan…love them boys!!!
I have always wondered what it’s like up in that part of the world. Being that I am from Colorado I can’t imagine that it’s all that much different, except it is Canada.
It ain’t much different…but if we is talking about the actual history of the Av’s…then Quebec is fucking cold…brrrr
Not much difference TC…
Stronger beer, more farmland, oil and prairie than CO.
The Rockies are spectacular in both places.
Biggest difference? The exchange. You can shop 1/3 more up here.

Well I am a Molson Ice drinker, lot’s of it too ;)…but we do have some damn good micro-brews down here.
I’m currently about twenty minutes outside of Calgary. For all intents and purposes, I’m in Calgary.
::in a sing-song voice::
Somebody’s moving to Canada! Somebody’s moving to Canada!

Pickin’s ain’t slim enough in Colorado, you gotta find a place even closer to the middle of nowhere?
Not now, but I lived in Calgary a few years ago, from grades 2-6… first in downtown Calgary, then in the NW near the university…
Feynn and I live in Edmonton. Not quite Calgary, but we go there once in a while. One of my best friends lives an hour east of it, and we like to hit the Zoo every summer.
drop,
I have no intention of moving to Canada. I love Colorado too much but I was just curious about Calagary people. But I do love my Canadian beer though
