Ambivalid is a good poster. I’ve thought about defending him before but I can tell he’s the type who doesn’t find himself that situations eat away at him.

I opened this assuming it’d be the recent Tupac was GAY?!? thread where he felt like someone misunderstood him. And he just couldn’t let it go after a long rant, then another, said he gave up (“Fuck it, I’m out!”), but kept returning to beat the dead horse (and could not grasp that no one else really cared whether it was dead or not).
Then he asked for the whole thing to be closed… prompting another thread… sigh.
I have generally found Ambivalid’s posts worth reading, although no one gets away without a few general clunkers, emotional rants or rapidly-drafted, ill-considered and later-regretted stinkbombs. I’m not sure he’s an exceptional poster but, you know, he seems fine.
I have no idea what the OP here is trying to say apart from the fact that he thinks Ambivalid is a good poster.

When I needed a kidney, not one friend or relative stepped forward. Everyone was “too busy” or had “plans”. But you know what? Ambivalid came through for me and I can go to my eternal slumber not wondering what the big deal is about steak and kidney pie.
While I appreciate the link to a thread I started, I’m not sure what it has to do with Ambivalid.

I think he might be referring to post #23, where Ambivalid was attempting some kind of satire(?) or performance art or something.

Just a quick check: is everyone else seeing the link go to a specific post of Ambivalid’s? Some of you are talking like you it just goes to a thread, but it should take you to his post about “check your privilege.”
Seems to me the point of this thread is just to say something positive about the guy publicly.
Seem to me like he posted this thread in The BBQ Pit.
