My condolences, Anahita. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
My thoughts are with you, Annie. I’m afraid I can’t think of anything more elequant to say, but having lost a parent, I can empathise. Look after yourself, as well as those around you.
Annie
I’m so sorry. I know there’s nothing I can say or do to help. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Take care of yourself and don’t worry about the unimportant stuff.

Annie,
I’m so, so sorry for your loss. I know that words can’t ease the pain just now, but rest assured that a lot of people care about you and are praying for you and yours…
Be well, sweetie.

Thank you all for your kind condolences.
It was a situation that is still indescribable. I’m back at home now and going to try to tackle the overwhelming mountain of things I feel I MUST do in the next two days.
I appreciate your comments and when I’m feeling up to it, I might go into more detail about the events of the past few days.
Annie, you have my number if you need to talk.
Anahita, having lost my mother recently, I really know what you are going through right now. I don’t really know the right things to say but I feel for you and I’m sorry. It does get better, although it doesn’t feel like it at first.
