This is an appreciation thread for the Sundance Channel’s Anatomy of a Scene series. For anyone who is interested in what goes on behind the scene in movie making, this is an addictive program. The series is basically an intensive look at the making of an important scene from a movie. They talk to the director, cast and crew about the problems and challenges of the scene. They discuss the whys and wherefores of the framing, lighting, diction, sound, pacing, etc. For me, seeing the behind the scenes decisions gives me a greated appreciation for the artistry of filmmaking.
