He just finally realized that it was not funny when Romney and Ryan did joke about the issue, with almost all Republicans even resorting to say that we are not doing anything to the atmosphere and that we should do nothing about climate change, when that is the case the idea that it should be safe to vote for them is not a good one.
Bloomberg and other governors from many coast cities are finding that this issue is not a Joke.
It is not a good idea to follow those King Xerxes’ when they are set to continue to ignore the issue and just flog the sea or the scientists if they get elected.
The Economist ripped Obama a new one, but ultimately and reluctantly endorsed him as “the devil we know” instead of Romney.
Favorite bit; “For all his businesslike intentions, Mr Romney has an economic plan that works only if you don’t believe most of what he says.”
Do you guys deny that Jewish public figures are under pressure to support Obama (see e.g., Sarah Silverman’s grandma), or do you just have some intuition that this does not impact Mike Bloomberg?
Holy shit, they got to Bloomburg?! I mean, I get Powell, being a shifty black person and all (his endorsement was all shuck and jive), but Bloomburg?
Have you forgotten that Colin Powell speaks Yiddish?
It’s okay, all you have to do is follow the news in Fox world: “Bloomberg backs Romney”.
Well, there goes Romney’s chance to win New York!
Your sarcasm points out the obvious. But i wonder if it will make anyone in red states think about Obama differently.
Yeah, those “red-staters” just love political advice from NYC.
Obama is going to take away your super-sized sodas!
Don’t think it will do much for Red states, but I do think it will be very important for the ones that are wavering in the battleground states.
So is Bloomberg going to buy Obama a third term?
Heh.
The aftermath of Frankenstorm Sandy, with Obama looking Presidential and memories of the Whazisname Administration’s ineptitude under similar circumstances being stirred can’t be good for Team Red in VA, NC, or FL.
I was thinking more along the lines of Obama being a protector and caretaker. Bush took a major hit from Katrina and turning 9/11 into an unecessary war. Even though Mitt tries to distance himself from W, its in the back of alot of peoples minds.
People are perhaps a bit more sympathetic towards NYC and NYC politicians right now than they might otherwise be. You might have noticed a recent weather situation that affected the area.
Well, his endorsement hinges on Climate Change, so if he’s able to change the minds of “red staters” on that subject in these last few days before the election, then more power to him. But I’m not aware of any “red states” that are actually in play. Did you have any particular states in mind?
Oy, thank goodness you posted that first link; I was about to plotz! What, you want I should have a heart attack?
Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz Endorses Barack Obama
“Schultz’s endorsement is surprising, given his vocal abstinence from politics this election cycle. In August 2011, Schultz called for a halt on campaign donations until both parties found common ground on the country’s long-term fiscal issues.”
Jews and their fucking striving for a better world… Jews are pussies that way.
