Bravo, take a bow hero!! You’ve managed to totally misunderstand the whole thrust of this thread.
You’re very special, SA, and I mean that sincerely.
Special.

I don’t believe a goddamned word of it.
Yeah, there’s that too.
Cool story, scumbag.
Conveniently timed, too. I’m reminded of some other conservative nutjob’s crazy lawnmower lady encounter just happening to occur when (they thought) it would help their argument in a thread here. Sure, that’s not incredible at all.
At some point we have to take our losses and just STOP FEEDING THE GODDAMN TROLL.
There is no conversation, no debate, no interaction: He’s a like a toddler with his fingers in his ears singing “I can’t hear you”. We have to clear the cookie jar away.
I’m happy to report that I was called a hero this morning. This weird old white guy was talking down to a bunch of women and telling them that the way they go about their lives was wrong, and he wasn’t listening to anything they were saying. I told him to shut up and fuck off, and he shat himself and then ran away. The women just walked away and went about their day, but a voice in my head said that I was a hero.
Well done, hero.
Me either; however under the new rules, you’re required to, no exceptions.
I am at a loss to understand what that anecdote was meant to illustrate. You saw a guy wearing red shorts and carrying a bright red tube. And a colleague of yours also saw him. She wondered whether he might still be around. So you said you’d go and check. And. . .? What happened? You went outside and Red Shorts was gone (in which case, the whole thing is a non-story)? Or he was there, threatening passers-by with his bright red tube and your manly manliness saved the day in some way? What did you actually do that warranted being called heroic (even “quasi-playfully”)? Do you honestly believe that this non-story illustrates the moral that “men can be of great benefit to women”? Huh?
I think it’s meant to suggest that not every woman hates all men, as you people keep arguing. That some women still appreciate common chivalric courtesy. M’lady.
And it’s yet another thing in which actually it’s got nothing to do with gender. The only genderized thing here is that women are more likely to be the target of sexual misconduct than men, but it’s not as if “the times I was sexually assaulted” are a topic of frequent conversation around watercoolers. I know more women who’ve been targetted than men, but I’d be very surprised if any of the men I know have told more than a few people. Most of those guys, I know it because I was also one of the targets (teacher at school; he was an equal-opportunity groper).
How does girls being ladylike help their male classmates who are being assaulted?
That call for even-handedness reminds me – we’re still waiting on an answer to:
You forgot to tip your fedora…
Though, even more bizarrely, the presence of any other male is apparently a threat. Other males have been seen in the area, that’s the sole justification for the delusion that the helpless womenfolk all need walking to the car by him, even when said other males are just rarely walking past (or through!!!) the parking lot.
But women shouldn’t treat all males as potential rapists
I could fertilise my garden with his posts.
That story really does highlight several things, none of them positive about SA.
He says other men who work there would (should?) Be glad to step up and protect these damsels except this one waited specifically for her hero to arrive. Didn’t ask anyone but SA. She tried to do it herself, but there was a male in the vicinity and she was frightened. But her movement isn’t restricted at all!
We shouldn’t demonize the other side- from the guy who blames all society’s ills on liberals.
Don’t treat all men as villains- did I tell you about this obvious villain who was in the parking lot? He terrified all the ladies. His crime? Being male in the parking lot. The cad.
Oh, and rolling his eyes at slut-shaming- from the guy who thinks that young girls are emulating “hos and bitches” and being told to be ladylike by the Mayflower Madam will help prevent that particular issue.
The fedora is implied.
My takeaway is that any man holding some sort of tube is a sick fuck who is a danger to society and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near adult women, let alone minors.
My takeaway is - what was in the tube? I want to know!!!
I used to play bass for Implied Fedora.
