And Into the Shredder Goes 1970

. . . Actually, that was what was censored . . .

I strongly suspect my last entry was some awful Deep Meaningful Musings about the past seven years and How Much I’ve Learned and My Hopes for the Future—in other words, unreadable drek.

As you can see I don’t post much, but I wanted to say that brief excerpts I’ve read in this thread have been fascinating, and that it’s a shame you’ve decided to destroy them.

It’s your choice, and I respect that…I’m pretty sure I don’t want anybody reading what I’ve written, but you have me hooked, where can I sate my appetite for reading about mundane lives?

That’s about the funniest thing I’ve read all year! OH MY GAWD!

It took me a while to get back to seeing what my entry was…
Thank You! I’m all agog at the Shakespeare reference there…I’m a big fan of The Bard! How coooool.

Happy shredding, hon!

Question about Betty. Betty from Philadelphia wouldn’t happen to have a last name starting with S, a husband who was jailed as a result of the McCarthy hearings, be an athiest who retains a culuturally Jewish identity, and have a great love of Don Quixote?

No, Betty had a last name stating with K, was a bisexual with two husbands, was a commited Communist with a love for Pablo Neruda, and, sadly, was a paranoid-schizophrenic who has cut off all her old friends.

Actually, everything until the schizophrenia is a good fit for the Betty I was thinking of.

I’ve got to get her to join the SDMB one of these days.
