I was messing around with the video mode on my digital camera and caught my cat, Pepper, having a good ol’ time with her favorite catnip-stuffed sock. I just had to stick it up on YouTube and share it with everyone. Now that’s what I call a happy cat!

Catnip–it’s Kitty crack.
From the typical reactions of cats, I’d say it’s closer to Kitty Weed. 
We have a few catnip-crazed pussycats. We call their herb of choice ‘catnabis’.

He was a shelter kitten, probably lost his mom too early, so he goes at that bear for a half hour at a time, when he feels like it.

Heh. Shiva does the same thing, except he suckles on me. More precisely, on the shoulder of whatever shirt I happen to be wearing at the time. I don’t mind the wet spot, but his claws are sharp; the area near where he suckles is covered with tiny scratches.
