Quick question for someone who might know…even the guys at Best Buy didn’t have answers for me. Here it goes…I want a power inverter so that I can power up my laptop using the lighter outlet in my truck. Here’s the question…what’s the deal with the difference in wattage? I found a 75 watt inverter, 90 watt, 140 watt, and so on. Does it matter which one I get? If it matters, I’m using a brand new Sony Vaio. I don’t want to blow it up in the car, you know? Any opinions or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would imagine the computer’s power consumption would have something to do with which inverter you get.
