So,this commercialis very cute (I’ve always kind of liked that Disney version of Robin Hood) - but what is the connection between unusual animal friend combinations and Android?
Near as I can tell, it’s “Don’t use an iPhone like everyone else”, expressed through Youtube videos that were probably shot on iPhones. I dunno, that’s all I’ve got.
I don’t know the connection, but the commercial is compelling. Every time it’s aired so far, I stop what I’m doing and watch it, including the mention of Android at the end. I suspect that’s the goal. Most commercials, I ignore or fast forward through. (I particularly liked the dog and elephant that were friends.)
That was my take. “Be together” - stay connected. “Not the same” - but to do so, don’t feel forced to using an IPhone (because there are a wide range of Android devices)
This was my take away. All android device types (animals) may be different but they will all still play nice together
