I want to see where I left off, not the very latest tweet and read them in backwards order. TweetDeck used to do that, but it’s gone.
TweetCaster does this for me, as long as I don’t go a couple of days and let some ridiculous amount of tweets pile up, which seems to freak it out a bit. I’m not exactly a twitter power-user, but I like the app (got the Pro version for free from an Amazon deal a year or so back and I’ve been using it ever since).
Thanks! I may have even got it from the Amazon free app of the day also, so it’s been a while since I tried it.
I just have the regular “official” Twitter app (which does do what the OP wants, in that one respect). Do I want TweetCaster instead? I do pics from Instagram so not really interested in that feature, I don’t think. Is the only other real benefit that it posts to facebook, too?
Odd, it doesn’t for me, and I cannot find any settings for this operation.
Hm. It’s not a setting I know of, either. I thought it just did it that way. I use a widget, maybe that has something to do with it? I always open the app through the widget, it opens to whatever tweet that was highlighted in the widget, and then when I hit the home button it goes to the last tweet I read in the feed.
