For all of the people out there who loved Andy Richter Controls the Universe (as I did), I just saw a commercial on Fox that said the season premiere will be on next Sunday (I think) at 9:30/8:30 central.

Same show as last season - the commercial looked the same.
He’s gonna be a guest on Conan sometime this week. Monday, I think. I’m too lazy to look it up.

I really enjoyed the 6 episodes or so that were shown last year.

That’s pretty cool. I still smile when I think about that episode where he dated the Anti-Semite. That episode was classic.

I was amazed at how long that commercial was! They’re really pushing this show this time.
It’s about fricking time they brought that show back.
Any word on when the three unaired episodes from last season will show up?

I’m excited, since it’s coming back on I’m going to try to get other people watching it by having a “maraton” of last season’s episodes. I can only find 5 out of the 6 episodes though, and have high hopes that I’ll figure out which tape the second episode is on.
Alzarian an article I read this summer about its return noted the name change, so it is the same show. Funny thing though, the show wasn’t supposed to be back on until January, so I guess FOX decided that “the Grubbs” sounded as dumb as I did, and decided to ditch it before the first episode. Yay!!
