Also know as the episode where continuity took a beating. The effects of electricity of vampires was basically rewritten for this episode. Thus Connors use of a taser on Angel, and the Initiative’s use of electrical weapons to subdue Spike suddenly make no sense at all. Angel took massive shots of electricity from her to no effect (other then the absurd heart beating thing).
She is pretty hot, in a X-men knock off sort of way.
BTW: Who knew that Vampires with souls are as easy to control as mini-RC cars.
I have a feeling that’ll be Gwen, but not in the way you think. In her first episode, when she fought Angel, the sexual tension and her zappiness got his heart a’-pumpin’ resulting in a moment where he was “alive.”
So I have a feeling that they’ll somehow use her to bring out Angelus. Some kind of artificial “moment of true happiness” or “awakening” kind of thing. He’s the only she can kiss without killing, and she sets his heart a-flutter, so there’ll probably be more to it (I see no other reason to really bring her back as a character, though she’s pretty cool.)
I’m guessing they’re going to go with the known temporary fix of giving some of whatever that actress chick gave him in the first season that brought the Angelus side of him out for a couple hours.
I guess the affiliates aren’t required to have the exact schedules throughout the country. But Thursday evenings seem like a better night than Wednesday. I mean, what’s on Thursday nights nowadays?
Ewwwwwwwwwww for Cordy and Connor as a couple. She held him when he was an infant, for Cripes sake! And it doesn’t help that she looks so maternal now. I literally felt a little sick when they showed that flashback of them getting it on in that loft where Connor’s been staying. Guk!
I like Spandexia. She kind of reminds me of early chipped-Spike: “Will any of you gits try to make an effort to remember that I don’t like you.” She sure seems to like Angel alright, though…
Okay, a bit of somewhat related gossip. Read that Alyson Hannigan (Willow from BtVS in case there’s a soul in this thread that doesn’t know that) is engaged to Alexis Denison (Wes from Angel). They’ve been dating for 2 years.
He’s a major babe. Good for her.
