Here’s the deal: I’ve got my basic format and everything up just fine. I have a couple of directories. I want another branch of of those directories. For example:

My index.html is:
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme2/eagleeye04

I have a directory called:
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme2/eagleeye04/cheats.html

I want one like:
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme2/eagleeye04/cheats/goldeneye64.html

How do I get the third one? I hope you understand what I mean. Any help will be appreciated.

  1. Logon to angelfire as you normally would. This should bring up the current list of files/directories in www.angelfire.com/extreme2

  2. Just below the directory listing is a line that says “Create a new file/directory”. Click the radio button so that directory is selected, type cheats in the name field (remember that the spelling will be case sensitive, so the capitalization, if any, that you use has to be duplicated when you reference the directory), then click on the Create button.

  3. The updated directory listing for www.angelfire.com/extreme2 should appear, now including the cheats subdirectory. Highlight the cheats entry by clicking on it, then click the Open Directory button above the directory listing. This should switch the listing to the www.angelfire.com/extreme2/cheats directory contents, which, because it is new, will not have any files in it yet.

  4. To celebrate your success, buy a copies of the Straight Dope books by Cecil Adams. See if you can get your friends/neighbors to join the celebration by purchasing same. In the unlikely event that this has been unsuccessful, instead buy copies of the Straight Dope books to salve your disappointment.
