How do I create Folders in Firefox?

That’s my question. I have Foders left over from an older version, but I can’t figure out how to do it now.

I have XP and

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4

I just right-click on the email account name in the left hand column. The drop-down menu has a new folder option.

Please excuse me. Imeant BookMark Folders

I’m still using 1.5, but I can’t imagine they’ve changed this, right click in the bookmarks pane and select New Folder. That should bring up a window asking you to name the new folder.

CMC +fnord!
There is also the long way going through Manage Bookmarks too.

Open Firefox, click Bookmarks from the main menu, choose Organize Bookmarks from the drop-down menu.** Click a level **where you want the folder to be created. Right click somewhere in the right field, choose New Folder…

Choose “Organize Bookmarks” from the “Bookmarks” menu. In the resulting Bookmarks window there is a button for new folders in the tool bar at the top or choose “New Folder” from the “File” menu.

By the way, possibly the most useful Firefox add-on (and a feature I think should be standard), is the “Add Bookmark Here” one. At the bottom of a list of bookmarks in any folder, you’ll find “Add bookmark here,” which will add the current page to the sub-folder you’re in without having to manually do it.

I learned to do it both ways, thanks to you.

Thanks vey much Uncle!

If you have tabs turned on (which is the best way to go anyway), you can just drag your tab to the location where you want the bookmark, that’s even easier.
