Ani Difranco's "Evolve"

Aw, man… I knew that was gonna happen. I write a post and it times out and disappears. Luckily, I save :smiley:

So, like I was saying -

Ani’s new album “Evolve” just came out, and apparently it’s the farewell to her current band. I haven’t gotten it yet (“Bills before Music”, my new motto), but I can’t wait to hear it. It’s not live, which means new material, and it’s gotten pretty good reviews (much better than Revelling/Reckoning, which I also liked). She’s also touring this spring and summer sans band, which I’m highly looking forward to. All told that should hold me for about 6 months. Good thing she’s so prolific.

Has anyone heard it?

I haven’t heard it either. In fact, I just now heard she’s got a new album.

I liked Revelling/Reckoning, too, though not all of it. I still think “Dilate” is the best she’s done so far, and I keep hoping she’ll top that one day. So maybe she will, this time. Is there anyone here who *has[I/] heard the album?
