I like to start the morning with a WTF moment, don’t you?
Just because you love animals doesn’t mean they’ll love you back.
At least they died doing something they loved.
Feeding the animals.
A couple decades ago .I lived in a neighborhood in Detroit where a lot of dogs were just let go. They packed up with the my neighbors bernard mix as leader of the pack. I looked out the window and saw them packing up ,forming a circle around a small dog that was loose. They looked like jackals ,as they started to take turns taking little nips at it. I knew they were going to kill it. The neighbors dog really liked me and I ran out and called for him. He thought for a few seconds and then turned and came to me wagging his tail. The attack ended.
A couple days later I saw them forming again. This time it was around an old woman walking home from work. They killed and ate her.
Kidding…I went out and stopped them again. But it did not take long before they became a threat. The dog pound chased them down and took most of them away breaking up the pack. But this happened inside the city.
God, that’s horrible. Based on the thread title, I thought this was going to be one of those ironic stories about how these people let the feral dogs run loose because they loved animals so much, only to be killed by them - ironic! No, actually they were just out on an evening walk, and had already expressed concern to others about the pack of dogs. Not ironic. Just crappy and awful.
