I don’t know about that tapir comment. Some quick research shows that several (not reliable) sources believe that distinction belongs to:
Whales, barnacles, humans (sometimes, probably more accurately cited as having the highest ratio among primates), and European garden slugs. I’m sure there are others.
Actually, barnacles get the most hits. We’ll have to do some more in-depth research on this subject.
