I’ve noticed the portrayal of Microsoft in Japanese Anime — and it’s different iterations of Windows as cute ‘Tans’ as fairly fawning, and put it down to Japan, like India ( but unlike China ) as not being particularly linuxified, perhaps something to do with conformism.

I like the little heroine scurrying through the dark places of the internet at the start like a bunny pursued by battle-bots. Still, disgustingly Microsoft loves to portray itself as a plucky little underdog.
