Anniz, dear, this is probably the most cryptic thing you’ve ever written - almost frightening - as if Monfort is going to do something rash if Bush wins (well, you do look a lot like Jodie Foster…get it?)
Anyhow. After seeing this thread, I actually started to write a very tasteful little story about a hypothetical Monfort-Anniz meeting, set to the same tone as Casablanca, but I thought it would just end up being taken the wrong way. I still think at a minimum the two of you guys should take some photos to post to the Board having fun together, seeing sights, eating out…oh hell, all of those things sound naughty too in the wrong context. I’m outta here.

It’s Montfort, dammit! And, yes, if Bush wins, I’d be more inclined to move to Sweden than if Gore or Nader win. It’s still too early in the game to make any predictions on that, but I’m amused by the bet idea. I’ll gladly accept bribes.
(Am I the only Doper who doesn’t see the resemblance between Anniz and Jodie Foster? Both are lovely, but so is Halle Berry, and Anniz doesn’t look like her, either.)
So, if I’m understanding MonTfort correctly, if a president is elected here that doesn’t tax him at an appropriately high level, he’ll go to some other country and get too much of his wages taken away from him by the government.
In very broad, simplistic (but that’s how Republicans like things, right?) terms, I suppose you’re possibly right.
I don’t mind high taxes at all, they keep my country safe, my streets paved, my grandparents socially secure, and helped me get a fairly decent public school education.
But, this ain’t GD, so I’ll shut up. And, there’s only one capital letter in my username.

Well, the first picture I ever saw of Anniz really did look like Jodie Foster IMO, and many others’. It was one where she was looking up at the camera in a certain way, and I think she really did resemble her in that one. Pictures since then have shown that she is, in fact, both different and better looking than Jodie Foster.
But it made for an amusing scenario, Mr. Hinckley…
