Poor Wally! What a crappy year he’s been having… heart surgery, that whole gerbil incident and now this!
Nothing but good thoughts for a quick recovery. Tell him we need him back and miss him terribly. What did he go and get hurt for? Putz!
Amy. be sure to tell you dad that all the “dopers” expect a rapid recovery so he can get back on this board and brighten our days and lives with his incredibly talented storytelling. I can’t help but grin at the memories of the great joy and fun that he has brought to all our lives and anticipate the humorous tale he will be telling us about this week in just a short while.

Well, I know he probably doesn’t know me, since I don’t post much. But, Wally is a good guy… I’ll definately have thoughts and prayers for him and his family tonight. I certainly hope nobody else got hurt-- and pray that we’ll be seeing full descriptions of the accident from Wally himself soon.

Without a doubt, Wally is one of the best parts of coming to this board. He is articulate, hysterically funny, warm, sincere, and a real mensch.
