ANNOUNCING My Brand New User Name!

Henceforth, I will be known as Kent Clark formerly** kunilou**.

A little background. Kunilou was the very first email address I had. Even when I joined here 20 years ago, I was changing over to a different address. As you can see from my avatar, I’ve always been a Superman fan. When I was young I had dark hair and horn-rim glasses and always hoped I looked more likethis than [URL=“https://www.slantmagazine.com/film/the-nutty-professor/”]this.

We’re all friends here. Call me Kent, or even better, Mr. Kent.

Wouldn’t it be Mr. Clark?

I know a guy irl with that name. He always says he’s not super but he does alright.

You’ve never read a Superman comic book or seen any of the movies?

Comics? No. I have seen movie 1 and 2…and maybe 3? But those were long ago. So I admit I could be being wooshed.

Hello, neighbor! This will take some getting used to!

I actually liked kunilou much better.

Goodbye kunilou hello Clark.

(Would have worked much better in the other direction.)

Wait, wut?

:frowning:
You’ll always be JimB to me.

Seconded.

Kent…
Kent…
Kent Clark…
I like it.
Kunilou always had a sort of mixed “mind feel” to me, sort of Hawaiian, and sort of dirty jokeish at the same time, always wondered at the origin of that name.

Greetings Kent Clark, sweet parting salutations kunilou

Now I’ll have to start over figuring out if I like you. :frowning:

In ye olden days cub reporter Jimmy Olsen always called Clark, “Mr. Kent,” as in, “Jeepers Mr Kent!”

I had several conversations with TubaDiva over which usernames would be kindest to our already stressed database. This was the one that seemed to be the best for everyone.

I’m very fond of kunilou myself, but his (and some people still think it’s hers) time has come and gone. I’m much happier with a hip name based on a comic book character from 1938.

Welcome. I shall endeavor to remember.

Or at least a name based on a comic book character from 1938.

This is going to be confusing

You do know that during the past several years, I have had three cats instead of two? And I don’t go around changing my Doper name because Three Many Cats would just be stupid.

What, no comma? Sounds a little bizarro. Like your avatar should be turned upside down.

I’m not understanding why Kent Clark and not Clark Kent. Do you find the lack of phone booths to be a problem?
