Didn’t see any threads on this (probably because it’s so lame it limps), so thought I’d start one. The hacker group Anonymous has apparently declared cyberwar on Israel and the IDF for their vicious defense of their country from rocket attacks and recently a bomb on a bus! The valiant and courageous hackers for Anonymous are fighting the good fight and battling against Israel and for the fine and upstanding Hamas for Truth, Justice and the Terrorist Way!!

Aside:

Saw a BBC production about Hank the Eight. Throwaway scene in there showing him sitting at a table with a lute, plucking notes and transcribing the song onto paper. It becomes clear after a couple of seconds that the song is “Greensleeves”, reflecting a long-standing myth/fact that he wrote it. And then they move right along…

I’m more inclined to believe it is someone with a vested interest in there being lots of computer problems out there, who is likely to be involved.

That’s kind of my point - Anonymous is any and everything, and anyone can claim Anonymous. It’s not like they have a membership roster. Or a hierarchy.
The Anonymous that stalks 14 year olds for tits or GTFO is not the same Anonymous that helps Wikileaks, fucks Scientology up the butt or whatever actually “heroic” or remarkable thing Anonymous may or may not have done over the years. Therefore, putting Anonymous as a whole on the stand for this or that action people claiming Anonymous did is sorta retarded. It’s akin to putting the ocean on trial because sharks!! (or because manatees. I swear, these things look too stupid to have any right to be alive.)

Truly talented people tend to be fucked in the head in some way or other, in my experience. Which is why they become talented in the first place. And ego is just as wonderful a reason as any to gratuitously cock anything up. Remember: never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity :wink:
