I like Canadian bacon.
sstaurus I’m really not aware of any ill-will toward Canadians and believe me the good relationship is appreciated. That said, you know, “officially” the policy or at least the political rhetoric from Montreal and Ottawa and stuff is not all friendly, and check out your own OP. We know the support is there for the war from a lot of people, and from having troops over there but there’s always that one matter…“officially” we probably shouldn’t be recognizing things that are unpopular and/or unofficial. So what exactly should we do? I have no idea what to think of the Canadian stance taken, so it’s not going to become an issue for me because we like Canadians. There. All done.
Isolated incidents have occurred, on both sides. :::shrug:::
Just today in the Metro On page 4 towards the bottom it states in an article that a Canadian legislator said she hated the “damned Americans” and called us “bastards.”
I could care less about Canada’s involvement in our war. We made it our fight and that’s just fine with me if they don’t want to get involved. That’s their choice. However, I do get a little pissed when elected officals start calling me a bastard.
