Count me among those who think tinting in movies has become an annoying fad over the past several years. Blue tinting especially. (TV has just imitated this trend.)
One day, movies from this era will seem dated because of all the tinting. People in the future wishing to capture and satirize the “feel” of a late 90s/early 00s movie will use tinting as a comic device.
But I thought Crazy Talk was the one who was into marketing gimmicks. He got the idea from “Dances With Focus Groups.”
