- I notice in Paint Shop Pro when you add text, there’s a drop down box for the font and character set, and the default character set is always Western. Most fonts I have show only Western, with perhaps one other. I noticed that for Arial there are Western, Greek, Cyrillic, Central European, Baltic and Turkish sets apparenty available. If I switch the character set to anything but Western, it flips back when I try to type text into the text entry area. Is there any way I can use an alternate character set that isn’t the same as what the system is set to? - MC

Which version of PSP are you using? I use an archaic copy of v3, and I don’t have any problems.
Check under the options or preferences menu… it might be something set up to default to western character sets.
