Wow. That’s crazy as crazy comes.
This morning’s Fox and Friends story was regarding political name calling. For example, somewhere somebody on the left sometime in the mists of antiquity referred to President Bush as a “dictator.” The question being posed, again I crap you negative:
“Will we continue to hear this sort of hateful rethoric from Obama and people on the left?”
And here I thought they were actually going to adress the McCain campaign accusing Obama of “palling around with terrorists” or of being a Socialist or of praising a “PLO spokesman.”
Boy is my face red.
Seriously. Bush is a dictator? That’s the “hateful rethoric” we get from the left?
A) How is that even relevant to the current presidential race?
B) Who the fuck ever seriously said that in the first place?
C) Fox is fucked up, man.
It’s a pop-up. But all the figures lean to the right.
I wonder if Fox had discussed riots prior to the verdict of the officers accused of beating Rodney King if that would have been racist. And would it have mattered if they were (or are in the current case) correct.
I don’t think they would have considered the possibility of Obama Lost riots if not for the Rodney King riots.
Why the fuck do people still watch Fox News?
The very sight of Bill O’Reilly makes me gag, and I can’t imagine watching a channel day in and day out knowing it would do nothing but piss me off.
I used to listen to Rush Limbaugh every day, just because I enjoyed screaming at my radio.
Rush sez: " Normally my gut says, I think I know what’s going to happen. When I have that gut instinct, then I pass it on.
I’m confused. My gut does not tell me anything here. The most honest thing you can tell you is, “I have no idea what’s going to happen,” but at the same time my gut does not say big-time Obama landslide. My gut also doesn’t say a McCain surprise win. I just have no feeling for this, because it is way too far off the board. "
My boss, who is gay, and made the maximum personal donation to Hillary’s campaign, listed to Rush every day. I think he likes being referred to as a degenerate or something.
I’m white and I just might riot if Obama loses.
Pittsburgh?
What?
As far as ‘cities’ go, Pittsburgh is like, Whitey McWhite town.
Riots in Pittsburgh? I mean, maybe if like, the health department shut down Primanti’s.
Usually in the form of mental diarrhea.
Is there maybe one honest FOX news anchorperson? On The Daily Show last night, there was a bit on Palin going rogue. The clip should be here.. At about 5 minutes in, there’s a clip of Shep Smith from FOX. He has Joe the Plumber on the phone and Joe’s talking about Obama being the death of Israel. Shep didn’t quite call him on it, but he showed his disagreement with what Joe said.
When my gut talks to me, I know it’s time to go to the bathroom.
catsix, Pittsburgh does have something of a history of racial tension. ISTR something about a black man being shot by the Pittsburgh police.
Robin
Your areolas have cockles? My areolas don’t have cockles, and if any areolas have cockles, these babies should have some freakin’ cockles.
What are cockles?
And yet my boss still thinks Fox News is the only unbaised news source. Apparently he hasn’t been watching the last two weeks, where they have dropped any pretense of being fair and balanced. Their website today and yesterday have had at certain times FIVE stories all bashing Obama…and not a single positive word, while McCain gets the lavish praise. Yes, that’s fair and balanced. One of their news reports in print blatantly stated that Khalidi was a PLO Spokesman, as if it were fact, when it’s been debunked by numerous reputable sources. I honestly don’t know how people can’t see them for what they are: the voice of the Republican Party. Period.
Jackasses.
Double Post…sorry.
That was in a suburb about 10 years ago and the white people I know thought it was pretty ridiculous, too. Since a woman’s attempt to claim she was assaulted because she was a McCain supporter last week didn’t draw much of a reaction, and I haven’t seen any other signs of racial tension, I have a hard time believing race riots will happen here. Hang on a second.
I’ve checked the football schedule. The Steelers are playing the Redskins on Monday night, so I can’t even think of anything that would even cause a football-related riot around here, short of an incredibly vicious and successful attempt at taking Hines Ward out of the game.
People really should visit PIttsburgh before making ridiculous claims about the city.
