Sore losers indeed . . .
I was hoping this thread was going to be about a Mormon riot.
That would be something!
Well there was thinking RV caravan that stopped at a place called Mountain Meadows …
It would be the most polite riot you ever saw.
Count me in on expecting a mormon riot as well…watching Salt Lake City burn would be an intresting picture…
However they were mostly just dissapointed…I think the biggest thing a majority of them did was actually drink a Cola last night…
Many of the Mormon’s I know didn’t want him to win. They preferred that the church remained out of the national political scene.
Mormons can still celebrate that one of their own is still leader of the US Senate.
The only consolation I have for those idiots at Ole Miss is that their ilk still knows how to light stuff on fire…
It’s a little late but I didn’t see a thread about it. Not a full blown riot like we Blacks would have thrown had Obama lost but we’ve had much more practice being oppressed. Romney lost fair and square if you can still call it that when the side that lost tried to game the system. If Obama had lost, I’d have been much more disappointed than I was over Gore or Kerry But I wouldn’t have gone out to “protest”.
I think I may have found the very subtle reason for their anger It’s hidden in the first sentence of the article:
So some racist privileged college students were unhappy with what the majority of the American public decided in a democratic election.
Keep it up boys and girls. I’m starting to think that within a few years Republicans will be unelectable in much of the country.
Would Blacks really have rioted if Obama lost an election?
So you would go for a full on riot, but not a “protest”? What happens if the next president isn’t Black (Obama can’t run again)?
No. No. I assume the next president will probably not be Black. Not a lot of senators and governors in the pipeline.
whhoooooosshhhhh
In 2008 and in 2012 we heard a lot of speculation about how that was going to happen if he lost. I can’t for the life of me understand why some people felt Obama’s supporters were more likely to riot than the supporters of any other presidential candidate.
Honestly, a few decades ago I doubt people would believe Mississippi would accept a black person being elected President without at least a few people getting murdered in the process. So I’ll look on the brightside and chalk this up to being a sign of progress.
Well, Allen West is likely to have a lot of free time on his hands in the next four years…
And yet here we have Romney supporters threatening to secede, roaming around a campus shouting racist crap, running their husbands over, and the candidate himself blaming others and refusing to acknowledge that people might not have actually liked the policies he espoused. Like maybe his offer of a gift of tax cuts to the wealthy did not convince the not-wealthy to vote for him.
Well, if you offer them free stuff…
And those college students weren’t looting either. They were finding supplies.
Oh, I’ll show you Black Friday!
