I remember practicing my reading with this book, but I can’t remember the name of it…maybe something along the lines of “The House that Went for a Walk” but that could be completely wrong for all I know. Google turns up nothing even slightly related when I search that title.
It was about, of course, a house that gets up from its foundation, pops out some little bitty legs, and walks around the neighborhood. The windows and the door made up the house’s face. I think the house could talk as well, I vaguely remember the house stopping to talk to the neighborhood pets. Possibly the other houses too, I don’t know. The house had a very nice demeanor, and IIRC, the family had no idea their house wandered the streets when they werent’ home.
