Another National Park asshole vandal

To explain this to you again: the “rocks and mud” are a thing that many, many people have determined to have an intrinsic value, enough people that the government has endeavored to protect this particular arrangement of rocks and mud by designating it part of a national park. Some individual asshole has taken it upon him- or herself to diminish that intrinsic value by way of some brief and pointless joyriding, thus ruining it for everyone else. It is a selfish act of vandalism.

We don’t think you’re an asshole because you don’t care about this particular arrangement of rocks and mud. We think you’re an asshole because you assume the fact that you don’t care about this particular arrangement of rocks and mud means that *others *are “stupid” for doing so.

Is that simple enough for you, or do I have to get out the hand puppets and have Elmo explain it to you?

Forget it, he’s [del]t[/del]rolling.

Yes, and those people are stupid. Where is the outrage for the vandalism of Trump’s building? Doesn’t the building have value? I would surmise that it has more value than a rock or some mud. Aren’t you outraged by that? Or, as I suspect, you have different levels of outrage depending on what YOU consider valuable, same as me. Mine doesn’t reach the “care about rocks and mud” level. Your might. Me not caring about the same things you do makes me an asshole? If you say so. I think you are an asshole for not posting outrage about the vandalism of Trump’s building. So?

You have hand puppets?

Oh yes, the so original “That poster doesn’t agree with me, he must be trolling!”

No, the even more original “it’s manson1972, the stupid one-trick monkey, indisputably trolling (poorly)” trope.

I know more than one trick! Also, calling me a monkey is racist.

manson1972 is it your intention that henceforth in any and every single thread where there is denunciation of an act of vandalism against a natural formation you will (a) intervene to ridicule and deride the notion and (b) seek to have the last word?

It’s not what you’re saying, it’s how you’re saying it.

Is the other trick throwing actual faeces? If you could do that with reasonable skill, the comparison would be less insulting to monkeys.

And what about the Holocaust? How can you sit there going on about Trump’s building when the Holocaust happened? WHAT KIND OF MONSTER ARE YOU THAT YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST?

I wouldn’t say EVERY thread, just those that interest me.

Can’t you read? I’m not going on about Trump’s building, I’m asking where is the outrage from people who care about vandalism of rocks and mud.

And really, Holocaust comparisons?

Ok. “That poster says stuff in a way I don’t like, he must be a Troll!”

How about we see what Miller thinks?

How about we see what he thinks about what? Your level of idiocy for crying over rocks and mud?

This is a Pit thread about vandalism in National Parks. Outrage about vandalism to Trump properties elsewhere isn’t particularly relevant.

Or, as one poster remarked:

You need to remember not to try to troll in two opposite directions at once.

Fair point. I shall look for another thread decrying the vandalism of private property.
