Another Trip's Cookin' thread: I'm making shishkabob. Who wants some?

Mmmm. Shishkabob.

I had today off (Federal holiday), and I jaunted down to the store an’ picked me up some shishkabobbin’ material: green peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, and beef.

So, dutifully I cut up my veggies (I find it easier to ‘pre-drill’ the carrots and mushrooms else they snap apart on ya), whilst my beef marinated in Worcestershire sauce.

Nigh on ten minutes ago, I laid my kabobs on the grill, and gave ‘em a liberal drizzlin’ of olive oil to help keep the moisture and flavor in, as well as to keep 'em from getting burned. Also, a dousing of Worcestershire was in order.

So I’ve got seven sticks on the grill. All I ask is you BYOB, and wipe your feet at the door. The sofa’s over there, and I think there’s some boxing on Showtime tonight. If not, “Office Space” is on, and then “Who’se Line” is on at 8:PM.

Make yourselves at home.

Kebabbage Time!!! Yay!!!

Where’s the Tabasco?

Ooh, never thought of that. . . It’s in the fridge.

But then again, I just put two bulbs of garlic on the top rack of the grill. They should be done in 20 minutes or so.

What? You’ve never tried a clove of actual roasted garlic? Aw man, yer in for a treat.

Here’s the remote. Put on whatever you want.

Dude, I am in.

I will even bring brownies.
