Looking at that photo I would have thought Laura Harris (The Faculty, Dead Like Me) but she would have only been 10 or 11 years old when the video was made.
Tin-eye couldn’t find her
And, as long as we’ve dragged this zombie out of the mud…
I never knew this was not a Harrison original. It was first recorded by James Ray in 1962 (written by Rudy Clark, who also penned The Shoop Shoop Song (It’s in His Kiss) [Cher does a killer version] and Good Lovin’, popularized by the young rascals).
And can I just say that I was never a fan of a lot of George’s videos. He was a serious musician and songsmith and he had these goofy videos. Example.
I think of him like this (first 20 seconds).
That might be what resulted from hanging around with the Pythons. ![]()
Her first name is Sarah. I went to school with her. She won the Just Seventeen model competition in 1986. I’ve just bought the magazine so I can let you know her surname as I can’t remember it. I’ll report back once I’ve got her surname
So…she was “Just Seventeen.”
. . . and you know what I mean.
Welcome to the boards!
Her name is Sarah Bishop, she was about 15/16 in that video
Did she continue on as a model/actress or was that it for her? It would be great to invite her to the thread.
Ive no idea. She was a year above me at school so wasn’t actually friends with her. That’s all I know sadly
Do you know of any online photos of her from that era? It’d help in confirming that she’s the one in the video.
Doubt you will see this, but always worth trying: what was the name of your school?
Stanley Deason in Brighton… Its not there anymore it’s now MET college
Yes Just Seventeen magazine from November 12th 1986. I’ve just bought the magazine and got pics but as I’m new I’m not allowed to post ![]()

Actually, even if the board gives you that message, none of us can post pictures through direct uploads. If you upload the picture(s) to a third-party image hosting site, like Imgur or Flickr, and then place the URL link to your image there in your post here, it’ll work (it’s what established users here do).
